Q: With what I have selected I feel like I should have more products.

A: If you're not getting all the parts/brands you were expecting, then you can click the Status button.

Q: I am not seeing the number of products I am expecting why aren't they loading?

A: My first question is have you checked the filter report? It's located in the filters tab and can be generated by clicking on the blue report button in the bottom corner. This brings up an excel sheet with all the products being filtered out of the store and the reason why.

Also if you left either "Import products with zero stock" or "Allow products without images" unchecked, those will cause a large number of products to be filtered out, which could result in lower product count numbers than you might be expecting.
