We have made a change to the Slingshot Automotive app, where now instead of deleting products we set them to archived. This means if you want to bring a product back it's relatively easy. You also have the option to turn this feature off, meaning any products set to be filtered out of the store will remain in the store and active. In the settings tab under the heading preferences you can find the setting "Allow archival of products that are filtered or discontinued" and turn it off.
If you want to see what products were archived, here's how to find them. In Shopify go to products, then sort by status > archived.
To make them all active again, we can simply click "Select All", then click "Set as Active" and confirm. (This works because you already have the setting "Allow archival of products that are filtered or discontinued" turned off.)
If you want this done by app you can simply turn the setting "Allow archival of products that are filtered or discontinued" off and when the scheduler updates the brand one by one, they will be unarchived eventually!Was this article helpful?
