Back Orders and Selling out of Stock Products

For BigCommerce app users we have the setting in the content tab to allow backorders. However this is set when we create a product and currently it doesn't synchronize. This means if it's not turned on when you first set up the app, for it to take affect you would need to delete and reload the products in the store.
