We often get asked how to find products on the Parts Unlimited website to place orders. This is because they use the supplier order ID instead of the MPN for product look ups. The supplier order ID is not specific to Parts Unlimited. All the distributors in slingshot have an MPN and supplier order ID field in our database. Some distributors don't provide a separate order ID so in those cases we just use the MPN for both.
Here's an example from the Parts Unlimited website:
0613-1387 is what we get as a supplier order ID which is a field used in order and tracking automation. The MPN we have for this product is H07-5923S.
To sum it up:
H07-5923S = the actual Moose Racing part number/SKU
06131387 = a seller/warehouse reference number, not the official Moose Racing SKU/MPN. This is a number created by Parts Unlimited.
You can simply use the MPN to search on the Parts Unlimited website and it will bring up the product with the supplier ID showing:
