The estimates are sourced from Turn 14, and while they generally work well, they may occasionally be slightly higher or lower than the actual cost. Most users find this option satisfactory, as long as they are comfortable with the estimates not being exact.
2. Employ the shipping rates tables in your Shopify settings and incorporate carriers you have accounts with. This method requires a bit more effort but allows for greater precision compared to the estimated shipping rates. Shopify offers comprehensive help articles to guide you through the setup process.
3. Upgrade to the enhanced plan of the Turn 14 app and take advantage of the order and tracking feature, including access to Turn 14's live shipping rates. This entails an order testing process to ensure smooth integration, after which the live rates can be set up.
Is there any way to do automated tax at the check out? The app can't automatically calculate tax at checkout, but your Shopify settings should be able to handle this. However in the pricing tab of the app there is a spot to add an extra margin for taxes, duties, or other fees.
