Product customization:
If you have any plans of customizing your product data, for example writing your own descriptions or editing titles, please consider the following steps.
- Turn off product deletion (In the filters tab of the app turn on "disable removal of filtered products")
- Turn off title and description synchronization (since you are customizing these fields) located in the content tab under synchronization
- Take backups of the Shopify product catalog as you customize the products
Theme customization
- How to backup a theme?
To backup your theme, click the 3 dots icon by the "Customize" button, and click "Duplicate"
This will create a copy of your current theme, that you can restore back to if an unintended change is saved and cannot be easily rectified.
