Frequently Asked Order and Tracking Questions

Here are some frequently asked questions:

  • When a customer orders parts through someone's store, where are the parts delivered? Direct to the customer.  Our app sends the order to the warehouse distributor for fulfillment.  They create a tracking number which we send back to the store (to give to the customer).  The warehouse distributor ships the products to the customer.


  • What happens if I have multiple distributors connected in Slingshot? Currently Slingshot only has the ability to automate orders for one distributor at a time. So if you have 3 distributors connected, pick the most important one, or the one you send the most orders to and we can set up automation for that distributor. Then you can place orders manuall for the other distributors you use less often. We do plan to change this in the future and allow multi distributor order routing.
